Legion of Bloom Wins 2021 CEA Sustainability Award for Best Practices in Agriculture

When you constantly have your head down focused on doing the work, it's a wonderful surprise to unexpectedly get recognized for your effort.  

This year, The Legion of Bloom team was honored to receive the 2021 CEA Award for the sustainability initiatives we’ve embraced across our entire organization. This prestigious Award not only recognizes our leadership role within the Cannabis Industry, but it signifies our strong standing within the global Agriculture Industry at large. This means a lot to us because we’ve spent years tending to crops in the fields and have always adhered to best practices for sustainable agriculture.

At LEGION, we’ve always believed that sustainability is a journey, not a destination. Winning the 2021 CEA Sustainability Award is a welcome reminder that we are on the right track.

Taking the high road isn’t always easy, but we’ve never regretted it, either.

From removing single-use plastic from the packaging in our Monarch vape and California Sauce cartridges and Strain Specific and California Sauce PAX pod lines to using 100% plant-based pouches for our 5 Star Flower line, we’re reducing our environmental footprint every step of the way. We have even implemented a nitrile glove recycling program at all of our cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. But nothing makes us happier than being able to give back to not-for-profits, and with your help, we’re able to donate proceeds from our sales to support local environmental causes. 

The LEGION team is truly honored to be recognized with this CEA Award, and will continue to lead by example on our sustainability journey.
